Wanda Louise Dieterich, 89, of Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday (June 11, 2011) at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate Wanda’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday (June 17, 2011) at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Friday. Mrs. Dieterich was born on August 19, 1921 in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of Jess and Ethel (Morrison) Isley. Wanda was a homemaker who loved to travel, shop and go to rummage sales. She married Charles Harry Dieterich who passed away on December 11, 1994.
Surviving is her son: Douglas (Rose) Dieterich of Taylorville, IL; daughter: Diane Wicklund of Decatur, IL; sister: Dorothy Adams of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Mark (Debra) Wicklund of Decatur, IL, Matt (Lori) Wicklund of Argenta, IL, Chad (Ginger) Johnson of Decatur, IL, Aaron (Heather) Doughty of Texas, Sean (Tammy) Doughty of Texas, Scott Doughty of Texas, Josh Dieterich of Taylorville, IL, Terry (Jerry) Stanley of Decatur, IL, Monica (John) Traham of Texas, Sinda Johnson of St. Louis, MO, Katrina Dieterich of Taylorville, IL and Kimberly Dieterich of Taylorville, IL; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters: Kristie Barker and Judy Doughty, two infant children, sister: Sue Swartz.
